Canossaville Children’s Home
Canossaville Children’s Home offers both residential and student care for youths aged between six to 12 years old. At their residential home, they house girls who are from at-risk families, providing them with emotional and psychological support. Additionally, their Student Care provides children who are hearing impaired or dyslexic with a safe and nurturing after-school environment.
In 2014, ERA raised over $78k for the home in 2014 at our Quarterly ERA Manager’s Day. Our staff paid a visit during Chinese New Year 2015 to celebrate and engage with the children.
The fund raising arm of the government agency, National Council of Social Service, the Community Chest raises funds for the nation’s various charities. These funds are used to help children with special needs, adults with disabilities, relationships of families and the elderly. ERA is a consistent contributor to the Community Chest, having been awarded our 9th SHARE Corporate Platinum Award and Five Years Outstanding SHARE Award at the Community Chest Awards 2016.
The Singapore Association For The Deaf
The Singapore Association for the Deaf seeks to assist the deaf to achieve a better quality of life, enabling them to integrate and contribute to society. They conduct a wide spectrum of activities to assist the deaf, including counselling, sign language courses, employment support, and speech therapy.
In 2015, ERA raised over $80k for the association through organising a charity walk. The company has also been awarded the I Love You Ruby Award and named Ambassador for the Deaf since 2010 by The Singapore Association for The Deaf.
SOSD is a volunteer-run organisation dedicated to the welfare of Singapore’s many street dogs. Their dog shelter rescue, rehabilitate and rehome strays to give them a second chance at life. ERA has extended a helping hand to raise awareness about SOSD’s adoption and rescue programs since 2016.
Lions Home for the Elders@Bedok 2016
ERA teammates gathered at Lions Home for the Elders@Bedok to bring joy and warmth to the elderly people who have had a hand in nation building when they were younger.
Queenstown Multi-Service Centre 2016
A gathering for 100 elderly folks was organised with ERA at Queenstown Multi-Service Centre to celebrate Mid-Autumn Festival.
