ERA Property Weekend 2020 Attracted 168,000 Viewers Over Two Days

Overall digital campaign reached over 431,000 and 1,200,000 online audience and impressions respectively.

Singapore, 14 October 2020 – ERA Property Weekend 2020, which showcases the nation’s largest virtual real estate gallery, has attracted more than 168,000 viewers and potential home buyers during the weekend of 10 and 11 October 2020.

Home buyers were able to access to a multitude of projects island-wide with over 140 virtual tours, exclusive property market insights from 14 of its top industry experts, as well as LytePay loyalty rewards of over $250,000 for the real estate agents.

Based on official Facebook figures, more than 168,000 viewers tuned in to the two-day virtual webinars. Week on week, there was a 1,600% increase in landing page visits after the ERA Property Weekend 2020 was kick-started – signalling an increasing interest on virtual events and normalising of viewing new launches and show flats online instead of physically.

Millennials and Generation X with age groups between 25-44 hold the majority viewership; they are also the most tech-savvy having grown up in the cusp of technological transformations.

Overall, the campaign – which heavily relied on digital media – has reached more than 431,000 online audience and garnered close to 1,200,000 impressions. This excluded the potential reach generated by news publicity via the mainstream media which would further drive the total awareness higher.

A total of 16 exclusive webinars were presented from 10am to 6pm on both days by 14 top industry experts, including ERA Chief Executive Officer Jack Chua; Chief Operating Officer, Marcus Chu; and Key Executive Officer, Eugene Lim. Topics ranged from how to “Globalise Your Property Portfolio” in an increasingly flat world, having a “Deal-structuring Framework to Maximise Returns”, to exclusive insider’s tips on property-purchasing for those who are interested in securing elusive GCBs and luxury properties.

    Marcus Chu revealed the 3-time proven strategies to take note of. They are: momentous events; such as the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic which spur market fluctuation and volatility, presenting opportunities for real estate investment, location; focusing on integrated developments based on the URA Masterplan dotted across Singapore to ensure future resale value; and finally, look for price disparity to discover underrated gems such as buying freehold properties at leasehold prices.

Furthermore, in conjunction with the 10.10 Super Shopping Day, ERA held a special developers’ discounts on selected units during the property weekend. Keen home buyers registered for a personal virtual home tour with ERA Trusted Advisor to enjoy the limited-time offers.

Over $250,000 worth of loyalty rewards was also given out to ERA agents who intend to cash-out from their LyteMoney business wallet. The rewards ranged from gold bars, luxurious staycations, lifestyle vouchers, and cash prizes.

Career and Digitalisation Support Package for agents affected by COVID-19

The outbreak of COVID-19 has affected many real estate agents and forced an acknowledgement of the importance of digitalisation. ERA announced a budget to assist agents who are looking to embrace digital transformation in their real estate career.

Help will be provided in October 2020:

1. In the form of subsidies for (total worth $1,873.50 per agent):

  • 2021/22 Registration Fees (worth $460 per agent)
  • 2021/22 Administrative Fees (worth $53.50 per agent)
  • 2021/22 Work Kit which includes Professional Indemnity Insurance, business cards, lanyard, ERApro mobile applications (worth $360 per agent)
  • MOP Penalty (Up to $1,000 reimbursement)

2. Curated programmes to ease newcomers into their new roles
3. Mentorship programmes and provision of access to technological tools that generate professional advice, market insights, etc.

“During Circuit Breaker, I was introduced to ERA’s Ultimate Agent Training which changed the way I think and opened up new opportunities.
