As the old proverb goes, “An apple a day keeps the doctor away.” Are you consuming too much soft drink and not enough fruits in your diet?
Why should you reduce your intake of soft drinks?
- Their contents will lead to obesity, tooth decay and more due to high amount of sugar and caffeine
- They are acidic and contain artificial flavourings or colourings
Take more fruits instead! Here are some suggestions:
- Apples
Apples are rich in minerals, especially potassium and phosphorous. They are good for the skin, kidneys and digestive system.
- Papaya
Papaya benefits those who have problems with digestion. It also speeds up the healing of wounds.
Pro tip: Do remember to eat fruits in moderation as well.
